For ProperExpression — Senior RevOps Solutions Architect

I know it's extra.I believe there's a fit.

Hi — I'm Steve Peele II. Nobody asked me to build this page. I built it because this role is the work I already do, the work my brain is wired for — and I wanted you to see that in one place, tidy, without digging through an application portal. Call it extra. I call it caring enough to write it down properly.

01 — Why this role

The survey gave it away.

Honestly, I was smitten answering your culture survey — and that told me something. Most applications are a chore. Yours felt like a conversation with people who think about this work the way I do.

This is HubSpot–Salesforce architecture in production, across multiple stakeholders, where the integration has to be right — not just demo well. That's been my job, in production, for a long time. This role is that job, at agency scale, with a team that clearly cares about doing it right.

Fit isn't a claim. It's a pattern you can check.

02 — How my brain works

Systems in, speed out.

I think in systems: how work compresses, how cycles accelerate, and how the right framework makes the drivers underneath it actually matter. Give me the framework and the drivers, and I'll spend my time making the machine move faster and read cleaner — lifecycle data you can trust, from first touch to closed-won.

That's the seat I'm looking for: the orchestration seat, without the bloat of doing everything else on top of it. I don't need to be the genius in the room. I want to execute alongside geniuses — fit into the architecture, enhance what's there, and make it move faster.

03 — The architect

Not an admin. An architect.

I'm a Salesforce architect — not an administrator who inherited someone else's org. Instrumenting the stack is core to what I do: the object and data model, flows, permissions, validation rules, and the integrations between systems. I've designed and built across pretty much everything in it. And when I walk in and the architecture is already in place, I don't rebuild it for ego. I deliver value fast on top of it — enhancing, increasing efficiency, and accelerating execution across the whole system.

Designed & built in production

HubSpot–Salesforce native connector — field mapping, sync rules, dedup · Custom API integrations · Middleware · Marketing Cloud journeys & Automation Studio · Lifecycle data models across HubSpot, Salesforce & Segment

Leading the build, not just using it

When I led a custom HubSpot–Salesforce–Segment integration, I scoped it and directed the developers: the field map, the data-flow diagram, a written spec with dedup, error-handling and QA criteria — then reviewed their builds in sandbox against it. The spec I wrote is still the reference the team builds against.

04 — The proof

A career spent instrumenting stacks.

  • Launch by NTT DATA — Head of Marketing Operations & Global Integration. I own the HubSpot–Salesforce–Segment architecture and the marketing technology stack globally, inside an enterprise pipeline motion.
  • dotloop — Seven years running marketing operations into Salesforce, the sales CRM: sales and CSM templates, lead-entry process and source attribution, engagement-flow mapping, automated scoring and nurture — from startup stage through the Zillow Group acquisition.
  • API Nation — Head of Growth. HubSpot-led demand generation with multi-touch attribution instrumented across channels, including fintech clients.
  • Astronomer · Inman · EBTH — Growth experimentation, full-funnel demand generation, multi-channel acquisition. Different stacks, same habit: instrument everything, make it read clean, make it move faster.
  • Tixxy — Founder. Built the full go-to-market engine from scratch; acquired. I've sat in the founder's chair — it changes how you architect for a client's business.

05 — Honest notes

What I won't pretend.

Financial Services Cloud: limited exposure only — including fintech clients earlier in my career. I'm not an FSC specialist, and I won't pretend to be. My depth is core Salesforce CRM, Marketing Cloud, and the HubSpot–Salesforce integration layer. FSC is a data model I'd learn the way I learn every org: by reading it properly and building carefully.

Certifications, kept short on purpose — they're on my resume: HubSpot Marketing Software · HubSpot Inbound Marketing · Salesforce Administrator · Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant.

06 — Everything you need

Pick the lane that fits.

Every one of these lands in the same place: me. No portal, no queue.

Why a whole page

Because I care. So I wrote it down.

Yeah, it's extra. Who cares. When something fits, you don't leave it sitting in a form field — you memorialize it. This page is me doing that: the fit, written down where it can't be skimmed past.

Can we speak?
